We are pleased to announce that our new program, ASD Reading, has been selected as an SIIA Innovation Incubator Program Finalist. The SIIA (Software & Information Industry Association) is the principal trade association for the software and digital content industry, and the Innovation Incubator Program identifies and supports entrepreneurs in their development and distribution of innovative learning technologies designed to improve education through the use of software, digital content and related technologies.

ASD Reading (www.ASDReading.com) is a groundbreaking literacy & language program for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) – including those who are non-verbal (i.e., non-speaking)! The patented program uses innovative methods that leverage skills the children already have to teach them to read and write as well as comprehend.

ASDReading.com was developed by Dr. Marion Blank, a world-renowned literacy and language expert who created and served as Co-Director of the Columbia University Developmental Neuropsychiatry Program for Autism and Related Disorders, and her son, Jonathan Blank, an award-winning software developer.

Innovation Incubator Program finalists were selected from the applicant pool based on key selection criteria, including: a) ability to positively impact end users; b) ability to succeed in the education technology market, and c) level of originality and innovation.

The program will be held during the annual Education Business Forum (EBF), the leading business and finance conference for the K-12 education technology markets. The finalists will feature their products during the event, Dec. 8-9 at the AMA Executive Conference Center in New York City.

ASD Reading will be presented by company CEO, Jonathan Blank.
