Best Sight Words to Teach Your Kids

Did you know that there are about 150 commonly used words in the English language that make up almost half of the text of any page? That’s right. Half of the text of any page, whether that page is part of a children’s story, or a sophisticated academic, or scientific document. These words are what I call non-content, or super sight words.

So, if you teach your child these words, they will know over half the words on any page. This is an excellent activity for teaching kindergarten or preschool reading.
