Geography can be a challenging subject.  Luckily, Lingo flew across the pond and spotted a great educational website called Toporopa that we’re excited to share.  Here’s more about them from their website:educational-website

“Can you point out Slovakia on the map? How about the Bosporus? Do you know the members of the European Union? This website is meant for everyone who wants to know more about Europe. This includes school kids, adults who want to test their knowledge and seniors who want to keep their brains fit.

The quizzes offer questions about countries, regions, cities, flags, monarchies, mountains, bodies of water and other topics. In all quizzes the focus is on the map; the map of the European continent that brings together geographical, political, historical and economical knowledge.

“Since using Reading Kingdom with my daughter she has improved her reading level in such a dramatic way that just today we read a very hard book together about Wetlands and another about Rain Forests, in which she read the fun facts part out loud to me instead of me reading the entire book. This is HUGE for my daughter!” — Amanda Werner
